For the whole period of 6 weeks you’ll work in the Bosch Stuttgart Connectory – our co-innovation space in the heart of Stuttgart. The goal of the Connectory is to empower opportunities for Bosch with new IoT products, business models and services to become a leading IoT company in the near future. The Connectory is a physical place to connect the Bosch of tomorrow by utilizing three critical elements: cross-domain , cross-functional, and active within the external IoT ecosystem.

Agenda:

More prototyping, less powerpointing – following this mantra we’ll start the first week with a team internal hackathon to get into Bosch’s world of IoT and Big Data. We already prepared different topics based on eCommerce platforms, IoT solutions and AI.

Afterwards we stick to our slogan “Bring IT, Make IT, Break IT”.

You already have an own idea? Let us know how we can assist.

If not, we have set up some own ideas you can work on:

- NEXT!Amazon: an eCommerce platform for aftermarkets

- RobertA: AI based assistant for engineering

- IoT Virtual Device Lab: virtual hardware development and testing.

You are free to develop own prototypes or challenge ours. During this time you will work together with domain experts in a team of your choice.

The results will be pitched to our decision makers at the end of the Boot Camp.

All through this period we offer you a diverse framework programme with speakers and events.

Conditions:

You will receive a six weeks contract for a paid voluntary internship. During the programme you can work with the Bosch tech stack with access to our development environment.

Wir sind für den gesamten Zeitraum von 6 Wochen in der Bosch Stuttgart Connectory – unserem Co-Innovation Space in Stuttgart Mitte. Das Ziel der Stuttgart Connectory ist es für die Bosch-Gruppe neue IoT-Produkte, -Geschäftsmodelle und -Services zu entwickeln, um Bosch auf dem Weg zu einem IoT-Unternehmen zu begleiten. Die Connectory fokussiert dabei drei wesentliche Bausteine: Cross-Domain, Cross-Funktional und die Zusammenarbeit mit dem externen IoT-Ökosystem (z.B. Meetups, Hackathons und Projektteams).

Ablauf:

More prototyping, less powerpointing – dem entsprechend starten wir in der ersten Woche direkt mit einem Hackathon, um die IoT- und Big Data Welt von Bosch kennenzulernen. Dafür haben wir schon mehrere Themenfelder vorbereitet, wie z.B. eCommerce Plattform, IoT und AI.  

Danach geht es getreu dem Motto „Bring IT, Make IT, Break IT“ weiter.

Ihr habt eine eigene Idee? Dann her damit. Alternativ haben wir auch schon einen kleinen Themenpool vorbereitet, u.a.

- NEXT!Amazon: die eCommerce Plattform für den Aftermarket

- RobertA: AI Assistant for Engineering

- IoT Virtual Device Lab: die virtuelle Erprobung von Hardware

Hier habt ihr je nach Thema die Möglichkeit, einen Prototypen „from scratch“ zu entwickeln oder einen existierenden Prototypen auf den Prüfstand zu stellen. Dabei arbeitet ihr mit verschiedenen Domain Experten im Team eurer Wahl.

Am Ende werden eure Ergebnisse vor einer Runde von Entscheidern gepitcht.

Während des Boot Camps bieten wir euch auch noch ein abwechslungsreiches Rahmenprogramm aus Speakern und Events.

Rahmenbedingungen:

Während dieser 6 Wochen seid ihr als freiwillige Praktikanten mit Vergütung bei uns beschäftigt. Im Rahmen des Boot Camps habt ihr die Möglichkeit, den Bosch Tech Stack auszutesten und bekommt vollen Zugang zu unseren Entwicklungsumgebungen.  

Zeigt was Ihr könnt, macht euch einen Namen, lasst uns von euch lernen – We put bullshit bingo into action.
