Intern – Software Developer (m/f)
Job Description:
•Work with the engineering team to develop, test, and improve one or more related software products
•Design and develop new features at direction of senior engineers
•Test software and report defects in an issue tracking system
•Create and run test cases for software products
Qualifications:
•Computer science or equivalent technical major
•Strong programming skills
•Knowledge of object-oriented development and design
•Experience with version control systems
•High-energy, motivated, capable learner, requires minimal supervision
•Qualification to work on web-based group purchasing and salon point-of-sale systems
•Proficient in PHP
•Familiar with web-application development, including HTML and CSS
•Familiar with MySQL
•Familiar with MVC web frameworks, preferably the Symfony framework
•Familiarity with the following is a plus
–-unit testing
–-XML/JSON/web-based APIs
–-JavaScript
–-jQuery or other JavaScript libraries
–-enterprise software development
