Since launching the GetSafe App for iOS and Android in mid-2015, our user base has grown quickly (50,000+) and we are looking to further expand our team.

Your tasks:

• You create real business value by enhancing our insurance manager app and platform in an interdisciplinary team

• You learn to build scalable and testable frontend and backend applications using technologies like Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Heroku, AngularJS, Angular 2 and Ionic Framework

• You participate in the full development life cycle (design, development, testing) of our product

• You work in a small scrum team with experienced backend & frontend developers, designers, as well as product owners

• You are proactive and pay attention to the scalability, performance and availability of our systems

• You take responsibility to ensure successful results

• You stay on top of current industry trends

Requirements:

• Strong computer science fundamentals gained through your current pursuit of a Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree in computer science, math or another related field.

• Experience using Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails or related technology for the backend

• Experience using HTML/CSS and Javascript for the frontend
